Last Party Of 2014

A big party is being held to say goodbye to 2014. Come enjoy a night of music, a lot of food, and meet a couple of rappers and celebrities. There will be a variety of food from many places for everyone to enjoy. And it’s free!! This event is only by invitation only.

You can bring whatever you’d like, at least some soda or chips. Anyone that gets invited is welcomed. You can wear whatever you feel like wearing, there’s no dress policy here. There will be many different ways to have fun in this party, not one person is going to be bored. There is also going to be a couple of famous people attending this, but it’s a surprise for everyone.

We are hoping that everyone that comes thinks that this is a great party. We are doing this for the people that don’t have anywhere to go on New Year’s, because nobody should be alone at home bored that night.

This will take place in the white house. I know, crazy. Hope everyone that is invited can attend. There will be awesome singers and entertainers.

There will be so much food that nobody will leave not satisfied. Everyone will find something they’ll like. This party will take place the 31st from 6:00 p.m. until 3:00a.m. Hope to you all here!

Not Enough Chips!!!

Dear Chip Companies:

I am writing about bags of chips come half full or less. No company should give so little amount of chips in a big bag. Most of the time when people open a bag of any kind of chips, they end up disappointed. It’s not only one company that does it, there’s Doritos, lays, and many more most of the time are like 50% air

Not too long ago, I bought a bag of Doritos because I just wanted to eat something. When I opened it, barely anything was in the bag. Many other people feel the same way about this, like they are not getting there money worth. Companies should add more in each bag or switch over to a can like pringles does. Companies are making a ton of money. Smart thinking on their side, but the product does not leave the buyers satisfied. Why are potato chip bags half full? I read on the internet that chip companies fill the bag with air to protect the chips from crumbling while they are shipping them. Why can’t they just make bigger bags to have more space for more the chips and the protective air for the customers?

Many people prefer Pringles now. Pringles are tastier and people are actually paying for what they want, not air. Many people are very disappointed with most bag chips companies. Everyone is highly upset and annoyed by the fact there is more air in the bag then potato chips. Since when do I have to pay for air just because it is in a bag? Every time I open a bag of chips, I end up disappointed due to the amount of chips in it. People will still buy them just because they enjoy them, but it is not worth it.
Sincerely,

Josefson's Presentation Of "That' Not A Feeling"

Dan Josefson’s Presentation of “That’s Not A Feeling”

Dan Josefson is a person who seems to enjoy reading. The book “That’s not a feeling” was the debut book of the writer Dan Josefson. Josefson took his time to share his work with some students of Nassau Community College. Dan Josefson’s presentation of his book “That’s Not a Feeling” was entertaining and really enjoyable.

Josefson reflects his experiences in “that’s not a feeling” as a former teacher at a boarding school. "That’s Not a Feeling" seems like an amusing novel by the way Jesefson presented it. The novels name is because of the feelings that are and are not allowed in Orchard’s. Jesefson’s book has a lot of meaning to it.

Josefson looks like he enjoys what he does. At first he seemed like a quiet and shy person but as the presentation went on he got more comfortable. Dan Josefson is not a person many words. Josefson explained everything he needed to while presenting. Even after he was done he took his time to answer every single question that the audience had.

At the end of his presentation he took every question the audience had. Josefson let everyone know that it is not easy to write a book. It took him a long time for “That’s Not A Feeling”, around ten years. Josefson really seemed to be enjoying the all the questions that the students had. Every question that the students asked he answered them with excitement and seemed like he was really into what he was doing.

“That’s Not a Feeling” seems like a very good novel. More people should support Dan Josefson and also other young writers by reading and showing appreciation to their work. Most writers don’t get the support they need, people don’t really appreciate what they do. Josefson has put a lot of time a dedication to his book and he deserves to get appreciation for it. Hopefully his book becomes something big, and also hopefully he keeps doing what he is doing.

Digital is better

How Digital Is Better

Digital and print are very different, but both are very important and helpful for various reasons. Dan Blank explains this in “Why Digital Is Better Than Print” They both can help you find information that people need for a research or some kind of work. Some people find things on the internet or on print interesting. Both digital and print have a lot in common when it comes to be being helpful. Digital is better.

Digital is not only very helpful, but it is also less time consuming. “But my iPhone is small and silent – a stealthy way to consume media” (Blank) is saying that digital is just easy to use anywhere. Almost everyone wants to get their work done quicker. In digital people can get a lot of information from various sources in only a little amount of time. Digital is only getting better and more helpful to the public.

Digital is also better due to the time it lasts and it takes less time to share what is going on. “Digital certainly consumes energy, but the inherent waste is not as evident, as millions of copies of a single piece of content can be replicated and spread across the world in moments” (Blank) supports this because Blank is saying that everyone around the world could know what is going on in a matter of seconds. People want to be up to date with the news and sports and print isn’t the way for that. With print people need to wait to find out what has happened in the world and they still do not find out everything out. With digital everyone can find out everything and not have to wait a day or two for it.

With digital you have more mobility it is not as annoying as print. “You easily bump into the person next to you with it; you find your hands are blackened with ink, and that you could annoy the person next to you with the constant shuffling sound of the pages” (Blank) shows how print isn’t as good as digital. Print also takes up more space that digital and gets on the way sometimes. People cannot put print in their pocket and keep it there for a while.  Everyone can take digital anywhere they want and not have to read it right at the moment.

Almost everyone has had to search for something whether it was on print or digital. Currently people mainly use digital. Similar information can be found on both digital and print, but digital goes right to the point, unlike print which people have to look into to find what they are looking for. No matter which one you use you will find out about the same things, it’s just the time it takes is different. Digital is much more helpful and it takes less time to find what people are looking for.
